The reception of the Berrill building was designed as part of an overall reconfiguration that would provide a sense of direction and a warmer welcome for visitors.
The floor-to-ceiling double-glazed walls are not just a transparent separation from the concourse, but provide staff and visitors with visual links to the surrounding areas. The project was part of a commission to reassess the design philosophy and space planning of the whole building.
