GSS Sponsors 10-year-old Football Star
A young Corby football star has received a boost to his career, for he has been sponsored by GSS Architecture.
Ten-year-old Aidan Peden has been playing left-back or left-side midfield for Northampton Town Juniors for the past two and a half years, after he was spotted by a scout while playing for Corby Kingswood. He signed a further annual contract with the Cobblers in May.
Aidan lives with parents Lorna and John, and brothers Donald, 12, and Ewan, 3, on Corby's Lloyds estate. He attends Our Lady's Catholic Junior School.
GSS partner Tom Lyons said, "We do a lot of work with schools in Corby, and we were delighted to sponsor Aidan. Northampton Town's Juniors play their home games at Moulton College, where coincidentally we are also the architects. But the team's away games cover the whole of the south of England. Our sponsorship will cover the costs of Aidan's training equipment as well as all his travelling expenses. Who knows - one day he could be playing in the Premiership."
