David has served as a member of the RIBA's National Council and is a past Chairman of the East Midlands RIBA. He specialises in industrial, commercial and educational buildings. He is QA manager for the practice.

Formerly with Michael Hopkins & Partners, his designs for the Campus Restaurant at University College Northampton have been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The Restaurant won the nationally-recognised Civic Trust Award.
